Hospitality Profitability Chart

The issue of profitability is a complex one, and one that a lot of operators are wrestling with at the moment.
If your business is not profitable you’re likely to soon find yourself having to close the doors for good.

For your business to be considered successful it must satisfy three criteria: it must produce a consistent suitable operating profit; it must be potentially saleable and valuable; and it must deliver a suitable lifestyle to its owners. If you can give a tick to all three, you’re doing very well. Increasing the profitability of your business however is much more easier said then done.

You can only increase the profit of a hospitality business, by either increasing revenue or decreasing expenses.
